No Attorney-Client Relationship Until Signed and Paid. No attorney-client relationship is formed, and no work will begin, until this Engagement Letter is signed and the flat fee below has been received.
Flat Fee, Earned Upon Receipt. The fee for this service is a flat fee, earned upon receipt. Unlike hourly billing, it reflects the attorney's experience, judgment, and preparation dedicated to your matter from the outset, not simply time spent drafting. Because the fee is earned upon receipt, it is non-refundable once work has begun.
No Guarantee of Outcome. Document preparation services do not guarantee any particular legal outcome. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information; the documents prepared will only be as accurate as the information you provide.
Confidentiality. Information you submit is treated as confidential once this Engagement Letter is signed, consistent with the Firm's obligations under the applicable rules of professional conduct.
